The challenge
Ervin Architecture is one of Maine’s most distinctive firms — with offices in Portland, Bangor, and Tampa, and a portfolio that spans the Maine Savings Amphitheater (the largest venue north of Boston) to luxury waterfront residences to standout hospitality projects like Kanù Restaurant + Bar. Founder Robert Ervin describes his firm’s work as ‘frozen rock and roll.’
The challenge was to build a digital presence with the same energy and craft as the buildings themselves — bold, portfolio-forward, and immediately differentiating from the generic aesthetic of most architecture firm websites. The site needed to attract discerning commercial clients while also speaking to residential clients ready to invest in exceptional design.

The visual identity system and site design mirror the firm’s precision and confidence, with portfolio presentation at the centre of everything.
