The challenge

Great Works Internet has been building broadband in Maine since 1994 — the first to bring DSL to the state, a co-founder of the Three Ring Binder open-access fiber network, and now expanding gigabit fiber to communities across Maine and New Hampshire. With 25 years of history and major infrastructure investment underway, GWI needed a website that reflected its past achievements and its future ambitions.

The challenge was to tell a complex story — residential fiber, business services, municipal network partnerships — in a way that was clear, community-rooted, and distinctly local in a market dominated by national ISP brands.

Our approach

Autumn Lane AI led brand refinement and a full WordPress rebuild for GWI. The new site architecture cleanly separates residential, business, and municipal service lines while maintaining a unified brand voice that emphasises GWI’s Maine roots and customer-first values.

The design and content strategy leaned into GWI’s differentiation from national competitors: local ownership, no contracts, no hidden fees, and a 25-year track record in the communities it serves.

The Result

GWI has a digital platform as reliable as the fiber it lays. The site supports customer acquisition across all service tiers,

communicates the brand’s community values, and positions GWI as the obvious choice for Mainers who want fast, local internet without the fine print.
