The challenge
The Maine Department of Energy Resources needed a dedicated digital platform to support workforce development in Maine’s growing clean energy sector — connecting job seekers with opportunities in renewables, efficiency, and related fields while providing employers a place to post positions and reach a qualified local audience.
The project required a scalable platform combining strong content management, job board functionality, and reliable infrastructure — built within public sector budget and timeline constraints.
Our approach
Autumn Lane AI designed and built a WordPress-based platform with custom development for job board functionality, hosted on AWS for reliability and scalability. The architecture gives the Department of Energy Resources full control over content and job listings without ongoing technical overhead.
The build was engineered for accessibility and performance from the outset, reflecting the public sector audience and the broad demographic of Maine workers the platform was designed to reach.
The Result
